New Finds at Downtown Disney

My friend Sydney and I made the conscious choice to go to Downtown Disney, on a Saturday night. If you’ve never been to DD it’s under a lot of construction and all the tourist still LOVE IT. Because it was so crowded, we stuck to  where there were fewer people and  breathing was possible. We found two little shops in the back corners of downtown Disney

Disney’s version of lush

Everything is beautiful and slightly cheaper than Lush, but I don’t think it’s as organic and natural as Lush

Art Collector

There’s an art gallery?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Yes an art gallery where there are all types of Disney art. When I spotted the store, It was like heaven opened its majestic gates.

Belated Shakespeare Project: Romeo and Juliet

I know this is extremely late but, my favorite book related Youtube channel is Books and Quils . For The past year that I’ve watched her videos, she set a goal to read 10 Shakespeare plays and then go see one performed live at the globe theater. I’m always looking for a way to read more plays so, this year I want to do it too! The goal is the same, read 10 skalespeare plays and then try to see one live. I don’t live in the uk so I can go to the globe theater. I started off with what is possibly the most famous love story ever.

Romeo and Juliet is read my most high school freshmen as part of their English class. Every time I read it, I learn something new. Romeo gets more dramatic, Mercutio gets funnier, and there is always another innuendo that I didn’t recognize before (and I have to spend 5 minutes laughing). I forgot how hard reading a play was. I also so forgot how different a play is every time I read it. There’s always something new to discover, and so much imagination is required it’s amazing . Reading Romeo and Juliet got me really excited for the other 9 plays that I want to conquer for 2016

The Beginning: a New Start

Have you ever taken a long hard look at your life and thought, ” I don’t feel like I’m doing enough”? Well that was me around my senior year of high school. Being completely honest, teenagers are always in some type of crisis and I was (am) no different. Being influenced by too many Youtube channels, I was inspired to create something online. Something meaningful that could open a new window to the next great adventure.   Youtube is always an option but circumstance is’t allowing that to happen, and also I’m not the best at expressing myself vocally. Writing something down and being able to look over it and tweak things to my liking, that sounds more like me. I started a blog and it was a neat little experiment. I found out where some of my passions lie, I learned a lot about time management, and I gained a lot of self discipline. Some time has passed and I feel the need for a new start. A place where I can really hunker down and start to take this seriously. Because through everything I’ve experienced with my last blog,  (which is still up and running, there are great and possibly embarrassing memories on there) I learned how much I love this. It’s as simple as sitting in a coffee shop, scolding yourself for buying that brownie even though it’s not cheat day, and typing away.
